NPA found a crazy new product today! MAGNETIC PAINT!
Whilst browsing the web today we found a mad product we had never heard of before! Yep, we found someone who sells magnetic paint! Nope it’s not an April fool joke, this stuff actually exists.
They seem to be based in the USA and they are called Kling magnetics and it is NOT something that we currently stock before you ask, but the basic premise is that it’s an Acrylic latex water-Based primer that turns any wall in your house or office into a Magnetic receptive Surface.
Cool huh?!
The paint product seems to be a primer rather than a top coat and you paint it on the wall, then paint over it with normal emulsion, in any colour you choose, and then anything magnetic simply sticks to it!
Manufacturers suggested uses………
Offices
Kids bedrooms
Kitchens
School classrooms
.and so on………..
They also state that it has a low VOC (Low odour), no lead of course, and is safe to use anywhere in the home. They highlighted the fact that it wont interfere with anything electrical such as computers etc.
(EDITORS NOTE: hey this stuff looks fab I may even buy some myself and have it shipped over!). It seems to be easy to apply by the novice and if you want more magnetic adhesion, just use more paint and put 2 coats on the walls.
It seems to be only available in the USA but if anyone knows of its existence in Europe, please do contact us here at NPA.
Who needs fridge magnets when you can now have WALL MAGNETS!!!!
As cool as beans…………
