Exterior Wall Coatings Scotland

Latest completed project! Never paint again are well known in England and Wales for transforming homes with Andura wall coatings, but did you know, we also cover most of Scotland too? Here’s our latest job.

This lovely “wee” house (!) in bonny Scotland was suffering from an extreme case of what happens when the Scottish weather we all so love (!) hits the wall, often driven by high winds.

This can, over time, remove even the strongest masonry paint and as you can see from the images below, (all of which expand when clicked), the masonry paint on this house, despite only being applied a couple of years ago, had mostly flaked away.

Repairs and weatherproofing to Scottish homes.

As you can see from the images below, one of the first tasks our team had to do was to remove the extensive flaky paint around the walls, using tools and also a powerful hot water pressure washer.

Once the paint was off, various bad areas such as cracks were revealed. They were repaired by our teams as any exterior wall coating must have the correct preparation before application, to ensure it will lasts for at least 15 years.

We then masked up the windows and protected the bushes around the house, applied a coat of modified latex render wash, then a generous coating of Andura primer, and then the top coat of Andura texgard classic EXTERIOR WALL COATING was sprayed to the walls using a “Graco president” pressure spray system.

This house will now not need repainting, or repairs, for up to 20 years! If this system interests you, why not find out more about having it on your home?
