Examples of our Work
We are proud of every job that we undertake, and have photographed several projects in both the "before" and "after" conditions. Browse through the photographs below to see what a difference the Never Paint Again system can make to a property. This is our wall coating and exterior wall refurbishment examples gallery. Example House 1
This late Victorian house in Devon, England, had been neglected over the years and needed much exterior repair and decoration work. The new owners had sympathetically restored the inside to a very high standard, and the last job was to have the exterior refurbished. |
Our expert wallcoatings installation team took 4 days to refurbish the outside walls of this Victorian house, repairing all the bad render, which was matched in perfectly, so much so, that once a rendered or stucco house is done by us, you cannot see the repairs. |
Example House 2
This smart modern detached property in Bovey Tracey, South Devon was in excellent structural condition and required no repairs to be done by our team prior to coating, however recent extension works by a local builder had ended up with a totally mismatched pebbledash surface to the original walls, which the owners did not like the look of! We visited the owners at their request, discussed their requirements, and put together a proposal & quote for them, which arrived in the post a week later for their consideration. (We don’t pressure our customers unlike our competitors!). A week after that, our surveyor revisited the property, completed the paperwork and took the “before” photo that you see here. |
A couple of weeks later, we got to work. We first masked up and protected all areas not to be sprayed, such as the brick features, and of course the doors and windows. Great care was taken by our team to protect plants, lawns and paved areas from any mess or paint spills. We then applied a modified latex render coat to the pebbledashed exterior surface, hand applied by our expert team, before the second coat, which was the waterproof and weatherproof primer. The primer acts like a base coat for the top spray applied wall coating, plus its waterproof qualities help to keep out any moisture, whilst allowing the wall to breathe. The final task was to apply the top coat, a high performance resin based textured wall coating which does not chip, flake, crack, fade or peel! This was applied by a high powered "graco president" exterior spray machine, imported especially, from the USA. This house will look as good as this for the next 25 years! The job took 5 days from start to finish and the owners are delighted! Why not contact us to see if we could do the same to your home? |
Example House 3
This detached pebbledashed house from the 1980s is in Cornwall, had several problem areas of loose render, cracks, and loose pebbledash, and the appearance was dull and lifeless as you can see. The owners called us in to quote them after they had already received quotes from other exterior wall coating companies, who bombarded them with false "show home" deals, and they despaired at not finding an ethical, honest, high quality company until we turned up! The survey, demonstration and price were done in less than one hour, and later, a written quote was sent to them for their consideration. (We don't pressure our customers with silly sales talk). They called a few days later and confirmed they wanted us to do the work which we were delighted to arrange for them. |
Only a couple of weeks later, our skilled team leader (John), turned up with his team to start the work. We cut out all the cracks and filled back to match the existing exterior wall surface, and then hacked off and replaced to match all unsound areas of render and pebbledash. We also installed a drip bead over their conservatory roof, plus attended to other minor maintenance issues on the house. We then applied a stabiliser coat, a coat of waterproof primer, and then spray applied the NPA exterior wall system onto the outside walls. As you can see, the results are quite dramatic, and the envy of the neighbourhood. Why not contact us to see what we could do for your house? You may be surprised at how much money you could save. This project took a week and was completed in October 2006. This house will stay looking this good for up to 25 years! |
Example House 4
This smart pebbledashed bungalow was in generally good condition, but over the years the owners had various alterations to the outside walls, and new UPVC windows, which created ugly scars which spoilt the look of the house. We visited the owner at their request, listened to what they wanted, and offered a solution which was not only pleasing to them, but value for money too. From when we arrived, to when we left after completing the paperwork, it took just one hour. NOTE: NOT A 4 HOUR SALES PITCH, LIKE SOME TEXTURE COATING COMPANIES IN THE UK! |
This picture shows the rear of the house having been masked up to protect doors and the Upvc windows. The walls were then repaired, and then a coat of latex bonded render is applied, which is like a sand and cement slurry, with bonding primers, which not only sticks the pebbles to the wall so they don’t fall off again, it prepares the surface for the next stage of preparation. The next stage is the application of a waterproof pliolite based primer coating, in this case, applied by our team who come direct from the factory, NOT SUB CONTRACTORS, WHICH WE DON’T USE. This wall (and the rest of the house too), had a clean down, a repair, a coat of "bagging", one coat of breathable yet waterproof primer, then the final sprayed on top coat. This job took one week from start to finish, so unlike general builders, who may be working on your house for weeks on end, we focus entirely on your property, ensuring the highest quality, the safest sites, and the most efficient and courteous installation teams, direct from the factory to your door, 12 months of the year. If you would like to find out more information regarding our NPA EXTERIOR WALL SYSTEM, then get in touch with us, it couldn’t be simpler, and unlike other companies, there’s no pressure and no false "show home" deals. THE PRICE YOU SEE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY! |
Example House 5
This 1980's built property had exterior walls in very poor condition, with areas of blown, hollow render, and extensive mould and algae growth. As it was used as a holiday home, the owners did not want to have to arrange to have it painted every year, so they gave us a call. After the painless procedure of a free no obligation quote, we left them to think about it for a couple of weeks rather than pressure them like some other wallcoatings companies do. They did think about it, and they came back to us and were happy to place an order. Our team had to powerwash all the walls, apply a biocide anti fungal coating, then all the repairs were expertly done, including blown window reveals and loose mortar. We then masked up the windows, protected all paths and driveways, protected the adjoining house also, and hand applied a pliolite based primer coat, rendering the whole house waterproof. |
The "after" picture shows the result of the final application of the Never Paint Again exterior wall system, which was spray applied to the walls, and will now look this good for up to 30 years! The exterior wallcoating on this house will not chip, flake, peel, fade or crack, it will also resists the growth of green mould again. Exterior walls made free of maintenance! If you would like a no obligation quote from us, please contact us and we will be in touch with you to discuss your requirements. Instead of having the builders in for months on end, we can transform your home from start to finish usually in a week! |
Example House 6
This delightful cottage in North Cornwall had suffered from the effects of the weather, being in an exposed coastal location overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Parts of the render and pebbledash had literally fallen off and needed urgent repair. |
In just four days during September 2004, we carried out all repairs to the rendered wall surfaces and installed our flexible, spray applied NEVERPAINTAGAIN exterior wallcoating system. The results speak for themselves. |
Example House 7
This brick built stately home was in bad need of repair to its wall surface as the penetrating damp was destroying historic features within the building. |
We applied a coat of latex bonded render, a waterproof primer and a sprayed top coat. As you can see, the difference is dramatic! Here we see the process of de-masking being carried out. |
Example House 8
The tyrolean coating on this house had, over the years been severely affected by the weather, causing large sections to crack and fall off. |
Our invisible repair system mean that after our coating is applied to the walls, you will not see evidence of previous problems, Guaranteed! |
Example House 9
This Cheshire terraced house near an industrial area had suffered badly from the deteriorating affects of pollution and the weather. |
After our repair to the wall, we then applied a latex cement render to toughen up the surface, then added a waterproof primer, before spraying our NEVERPAINTAGAIN exterior coating. Good as new! This job was done in November 1998 and still looks this good today! |
Example House 10
A terraced house in the South West, clearly in need of some remedial work and a facelift. This house was previously coated with a trowel applied exterior render wall coating system about 15 years ago. As you can see by the before picture, it had picked up a lot of dirt as it was next to the main Plymouth to Exeter railway line, it had become brittle and had cracked. In several places, it had actually fallen off and there was evidence of damp, mildew and mould in many areas. |
A bright, yet subtle wallcoating finish has transformed the look, feel and value of this property. As an example of our famous unhurried, no pressure, professional and customer focussed service, the busy working owner of this property, kindly took time off during his working day to meet us. As the customer had a limited to time to see us and had to get back to work, like most people, we got on the case VERY quickly and very efficiently. We had measured the walls, identified the problems, provided a pleasing and inexpensive solution, AND completed all the paperwork for the job, wrapped up in 30 minutes! The job was installed 3 weeks later. FACT! Why wait for ever? We can install the NEVER PAINT AGAIN exterior wallcoating system 12 MONTHS OF THE YEAR, NO MATTER WHAT THE SEASON. |
Example House 11
The lady who owned this house in North London had spent a lot of money improving her home over the years, but several alterations to the outside walls had made the house look untidy. |
After our full repair and wallcoating was applied, this proud home owner was left with a crisp, clean and uniform finish on her outside walls, a finish that will stay like this for up to 25 years. |
Example House 12
This end of terrace house in Plymouth (circa 1890) needed a quick solution to the yearly problem of decorating. The end wall also had large areas of hollow render, the start of damp ingress. |
During a bitterly cold February in 2004, we undertook the full NEVERPAINTAGAIN™ exterior wallcoating treatment to the rendered walls of this house. The walls were power washed and cleaned, the cracks repaired, the hollow render replaced to match, the doors and windows were masked up to protect, and then we carried out application of Pliolite™ primer coat, and then a final spray applied coat of the never paint again™ exterior wall coating system. Good as new, and maintenance free! |
Example House 13
This impressive double fronted Victorian villa, also in Plymouth, had not been decorated for many years and the substrate was suffering from extensive frost damage. We got to work immediately on the project arranging the erection of a safe and workable scaffold, in this instance, expertly provided by a local Plymouth company. |
The exterior walls were then spray applied with a high performance, custom colour, durable wallcoating that has transformed the value and appearance of this property. We finished off the project by restoring, renovating and repainting the original large sash windows on this property and picking out the architraves, quoins and mouldings in a specially made Victorian period colour to add to the value and look of this impressive residence. |
Example House 14
This property had suffered years of neglect and the external walls badly needed remedial work and a cosmetic facelift with a product far more heavy duty than paint. We also found cracked and loose render on the exterior walls, missing pebbledash, penetrating and rising damp, hairline and major cracks and a leaky chimney. |
Look how good it looks treated and protected with our flexible long life textured coating. |
Example House 15
An ex-council house in Stoke-On-Trent, masked-up during preparation of the walls. |
Project completed on time, even during bad weather. |
Example House 16
Here we see a property after it was masked up, temporarily protecting the windows and pipes from any mess due to the building work. We also see examples of render repairs and the application of a tyrolean sand/cement based coating to reinstate the original textured on the exterior wall. |
A solid and durable coating across both properties has given this building a new lease of life and saved this council thousands in future maintenance. |
Example House 17
This house had its original spar dash coating which over the years had become dirty and many of the original stones had fallen out leaving an unsightly external wall appearance. Just the job for one of the experienced Never Paint Again™ wall coating installation teams! |
As you can clearly see, after 2 weeks of hard work, causing minimal disruption to the occupants, the house has been totally transformed with a spray applied textured exterior masonry coating. This external wall coating will look this good 15 years from now. |
Example House 18
A two bedroom London semi-detached house with an extensive penetrating damp problem. |
Transformed into a damp-free warm and welcoming family home. This house will look the same as this in twenty five years time. |
Example House 19
The walls were built of rough, natural stone and were at least 3 feet thick! Despite this, the owners had penetrating damp within the house which was of course causing some discomfort to the occupants. Here we see the windows masked up and the application of the sand and cement bonding primer, commonly known as “bagging” or “bag rubbing” in the textured coating industry. |
All damp cured and a maintenance-free finished for these ancient exterior walls. |
Example House 20
We worked closely with the clients architect to ensure that only traditional lime based render was used on the external walls, plus with the house being in a conservation area, careful attention was required to bring not only the exterior masonry walls up to scratch, but also the architrave mouldings, quoins and details were restored to their original condition, paying great attention to detail. We also had special paint colours mixed up from an original 1850’s recipe, using only natural ingredients, dyes and pigments. |
The owners can now relax in the knowledge that their property was fully refurbished by professionals. We even painted the doors and windows to finish the painting job off, a feat in itself since the windows were around 120 years old! |
