This old mansion house is located in Warrington, Cheshire and had the name “Park Manor”.
For many years it was used as a nursing home and then multi occupancy flats, and as you can clearly see in the “before” image on the right (CLICK TO EXPAND) , the house was a sad and sorry state of its former grand self.
Just standing in the car park, we were almost taken back in time, but tinged with great sadness as to the state the house had fallen in to.
Imagine the Edwardians having costume balls here, cricket on the lawn, afternoon tea, his Lordship coming around for a brief soiree, and so on. The stories this grand old lady could tell us.
This was a BIG JOB!
The new owner had a dream, which he wanted to share with us!
The photo on right hand of the top of this page shows the terrible state it was in before we turned up! (We love a challenge!), whilst the photo above left is the finished article and the results of the hard work of our contracting company, All seasons Systems!
The house was to be totally reformed and turned into an up-market restaurant!
“Tasty!”
As you can see by the photos, a lot of work was needed including replacement windows, extensive exterior wall rendering, structural work, damp proofing and so on.
……And to think, we only did the OUTSIDE!
The 1st task was to replace much of the hollow render, making sure the old “block lines” were scored back into the render wall surface. We then masked up the windows, applied one coat of waterproof masonry primer, and then One coat of Andura tex gard classic masonry coating and its as good as new, protected from the weather, and will stay looking this good for many years to come.
This building is now known as the “Spirit restaurant” and, according to several reviews online, is well worth visiting, (Victoria Park, Knutsford Road, Warrington, WA4 1DQ).

I would like to thank you for the work that was carried out on my property. Since the new coating has been applied to the building the house has never looked better, many people who walk past stop to comment on how impressive the building looks.
