Thank God it’s friday! Who said the world of textured coatings is dull!?

PHEW! What a week.
Well to recap this week, we have another buoyant sales week despite the credit crunch (sounds like a breakfast cereal for bank managers when you think about it!)
…….and things are looking good. We formally ended our relationship with a group of companies in Spain that we doing some marketing for, and to be honest we’re not too happy with them, so it’s good that we are now focussed back onto the UK, our core market.
We have seen increased activity down in the southwest (Devon and Cornwall), which is good to hear, and our manager in the west country, Mr John Irons, has been rushed off his feet! Bless him. A real grafter of the “old school”! and some superb quality work being done, which is good to hear! Nice chap, i’ve worked with him on and off for the past 24 years! Oh and he does roofing and general building work too, so if you have a medium size project, please do get in touch at Never paint again, as we may be able to price the job for you! (that’s only for Devon and Cornwall though.)
Meanwhile on the south coast, Mr John Day has been hard at work running the south coast dealership “Lifecote” and has seen a large increase in work and in customer enquiries, so again, more good news! (i’m smiling as I write this!)
While the press would have us all believe it’s doom and gloom, some brightness always comes out of bad spot, so mr and mrs consumer, don’t worry, we are here for you!
I think people are worried in general though, with the way things are going, and why not? I mean, petrol, what the hells going on there? Yes I know prices are going up everywhere, but most of the cost of petrol is tax! Utterly ridiculous that we are part of Europe, we have our own oil fields too, but why do we have to pay more than Europe? Try filling up your car in Spain as I did in Valencia last year, and believe me, your money goes a heck of a lot further!
And bills, and food, I mean, somethings got to change really hasnt it?
We at NPA are seeing quite a few people get in touch for a quote, as a lot of poeple have cottoned onto the fact that selling houses in the UK has been become a lot harder of late and as such, it appears as always, that only the houses that are in the best condition and look good from the outside, are the ones that are actually selling!
Ok, it’s fairly obvious i’m going to say that, but the above is not an advert, this is really what’s happening!……and best of luck to anyone trying to sell your home at present, however please understand that this has been on the cards for some time
Anyway, i’m signing off for the weekend now, but reception is still open all weekend so if you want to call us and book a quote to have the outside of your house repaired, sorted and painted, please get in touch!
Have a great weekend
