Bomb damaged house needs a little TLC

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Enquirer Message: I am looking to have the bay window of my 1880 terraced house on

London repaired. It is cracked (age and bomb damage) and has a chunk missing from the external window ledge. How much would it cost to have this work done? Do you do small jobs of this nature?

I am presuming the bomb damage is from world war 2 and not a dispute with your neighbors?????!!!!!!! We could only do repairs to the property exterior as part of a refurbishment of the outside, for small jobs, its best to get a builder in. Good luck anyway.

Well, the paint you speak of is fairly good, but you will most DIY paints are a lower grade than trade and specialist paints and by the sound of it you need far more than a simple coat of paint on those walls…………..I will arrange for someone to get in touch with you
