Dear sirs, I am an owner of a 3 bed semi detached house, which has a wall covering of painted block work. Over the years this paint has chipped and cracked, and I am looking to recover the exterior walls, and was looking for an approximate cost for yourselves to carry out the necessary work. I have a problem as follows: a double storey extension was built close to the neighbours house with a gap of about 8 inches between the walls. The extension was built using thermalite bricks but no render was applied and the finish of this wall is poor. Is it possible to render this wall using your system?

I have a 5 bed farm house with two sections. The 1800s section has bad mortar and brick damage (old small style bricks. The 1900s section has good brick work. i built my home in 2004 [sub contracted]and i'm having major problems with driving rain from the south west / west penetrating the clay bricks. a cavity tray was installed, though has probably been put in to low [its about 10mm below garage roof level], and then a really smart roofing contractor installed a polyresin roof to our patio [above garage] as we initially thought it must be a leaking roof, and covered the existing weep holes. the problem of water in our garage in the driving winter rains is now worse than ever. i'm trying to get a bricklayer to reinstall a new cavity tray [which should stop the problem] but i'm also interested in this product to enhance the trays protection.

The house I've purchased is over 100 years old and a couple of thick black tiles approx 30 cm x 40 cm x 2cm with bevelled edges (which must have been salvaged from the old fireplace) are being used as a sort of shelf where the old fireplace would have been. I have a Victorian Semi, about 120 years old, which is suffering from some areas of blown render and cracking of existing rendering. This all needs repairing, and the house re-coating. It's not a particularly difficult job, although the house is fairly high (I estimate about 28 feet to the apex of the roof). I was wondering how much this work would be likely to cost me, or how I can get an estimate from your company.

I have a 1930s detached house, brick built, rendered. It has been extended, and the rendering is not all the same style. It is also cracked/coming away in a few places. On the north side, we also have some damp problems in one upstairs bedroom. It may just be a chimney which a rotating cowl fell off, or there might be some damp penetration through the walls (but no signs downstairs). Maybe it's just the condensation caused by the north facing cold wall? I tried ringing just now but got no answer so thought I'd start off with an email. I could just patch up the render, but I'm interested to see if your technology might provide a qualitatively better solution. I look forward to hearing from you. Tony

Please help.We are painting a house which has water damage. We have rubbed the wall down and sealed it. We have painted it twice now. But the stain is still coming through. We live in Cyprus where the humidity is quite high during the summer months, we have dried the wall as best we can. At the moment the temperature is in the high 20's and the humidity is 68% roughly.

I have an old detached house that has been extended over the years. The original is approximately 200yrs old, next to that a piece 100yrs old and attached to that an extension of some 10 years old. It is all brick construction that has been directly painted over. The problems are only in the old part (200 & 100yrs old). The bricks are very old, some are porous and crumbling so the paint does not stick even though it was only painted 3 years ago. We also get damp problems inside. What are my options? I currently have pebledash rendering on my house. There is damp in one of the lower rooms which I had previously treated internally, replastered and placed two air vents in the room in the hope that this would solve the problem. 6 months on the internal plaster is blistering, so the problem is not fixed. I have a semi-detached Welsh traditional labourer's cottage rendered in pebbledash. Is it possible to paint it white without removing the existing pebble-dash? Or do you re-render it? Also, can you give me a ball-park idea as to cost? It is a one bedroom, groundfloor construction about 20' x 20' with an attached stable about 10' x 15.' There is very little pebbbledash at the back of the house as there is a conservatory with 90cm wall so it is only really the front of house (about 6'high, door height 5'7 (!)) and one side as it is semi detached on the other side.

Hello, I need some advice,i wander whether the building here needs rendering or if it is a different problem. Our building is 1960's build, 2 layer of brick. Every flat has problems with condensation and mould in the winter where the warm air of the flats hit the cold brick. Mould growth has to be kept under control.
